Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the wild west in an awesome game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to worry about any other, more skillful players taking their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, beginners are able to take their time and plan while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also simpler to participate in for a very long time with basically a small amount of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the dealer is given 7 cards face down.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
