Gus Hansen had an amazing year on the WPT where he was the only player to achieve final poker table in 3 of the events. Gus Hansen has appeared on High Stakes Poker on The Game Show Network where he paid $400, 000 to play. You might recall one of the biggest pots in big stakes poker recorded history competing against Daniel Negreanu. Gus secured a big pot with 4 of a kind against Negreanu’s full house. Hansen has earned many tv poker appearances and is thought to be one of the greatest players in the world. While betting on web poker, a different side of Hansen has been seen. He regularly participates in the 200/400 No Limit maximum buy-in of Forty Thousand dollars. Gus usually buys in for the min of $16, 000 and gambles very weak. Unless Gus is broke, he has no reason to settle at the table with the min buy in.
